Children are more successful at learning if they have well developed learning behaviours. We explicitly teach and encourage children to improve their learning behaviour and we have a shared language for doing so. Each term children in every class are nominated to receive a termly certificate for each learning behaviour. This can be because they have consistently demonstrated this strength in their learning or because they have recently made a big improvement in this area of focus.
